My Milestone II
So they say - slowly but surely. yes, take things one at a time. my 'nun' friends (as Carol calls them)will tell me 'in His time'.
I graduated in June'06 with an Associate of Arts degree (diploma eqivalent)in Psychology. My 2 years break from work finally ended last wednesday when I started working as a traffic consultant - somewhat a dream since i graduated 10 years ago.
i guess part of my purpose of coming to the Bay Area has been archieved. There are others things i can start working towards. ha ha ha, dun laugh, it's not what you are thinking ;). I mean, i can start going to flight school and try to earn my pilot license. also, i am starting to volunteer at the animal hospital of the local SPCA equivalent. These are things that I wanted but couldn't do for awhile.
Oh, my new found (or rather i should say revived)sport/hobby is to go shooting range - no, not shooting golf balls, but 9mm handguns. it is a very good stress reliever. it is so cool learning all about the different firearms - something I was hoping to pickup for a long time.
yes, one thing at a time.....
